Information Technology Training [An Initiative by Sufi Faruq Ibne Abubakar]

The primary objective of this initiative is to equip every young person in the Kumarkhali and Khoksa Upazilas of Kushtia to be competent for the modern world. In this day and age, Information Technology is no longer merely an added qualification, but an indispensable skill. Our goal is to educate every student in remote areas in IT, making them self-reliant and employable.

  2. Advanced Stage (Advanced Course): After successfully completing the primary stage, various long-term technical training courses (such as Graphic Design, Web Development, Freelancing, etc.) are offered based on the student’s merit and interest.

Success Stories of Free Computer Training under the ‘Career Counselling Assembly’:

This initiative is serving as a milestone in eradicating educated unemployment in Kumarkhali and Khoksa Upazilas. Having trained in our labs, these youths are now not only jobholders but are also contributing to the country’s economy by earning foreign currency as skilled freelancers.

Congratulations, Shahidul!

Following the completion of our Free “Essential IT Skills” course at the Career Counselling Assembly, Manik Sheikh has secured a job at Nr Software Technology.

His home is in Buzruk Mirzapur village under the Shomospur Union of Khoksa Upazila. His father is Mr Md Shahidul Islam.

Following the completion of our Free “Essential IT Skills” course at the Career Counselling Assembly, Jahidul Islam has secured a job at Nr Software Technology.

Jahidul Islam’s maternal grandparents’ home is in Mirzapur, Khoksa Upazila. His father is Mr Suruj Ali. Jahidul completed the course while staying at his grandparents’ house.

Congratulations, Rakibul!

Following the completion of our Free “Essential IT Skills” course at the Career Counselling Assembly, Rakibul Islam is now working as a computer operator in a garment factory.

Rakibul’s home is in Mazgram village under the Shilaidaha Union. His father is Mr Nizam Uddin. Due to various circumstances, Rakibul could not sit his SSC examinations. His academic schooling came to an end in the tenth grade.

In my local area of Kumarkhali-Khoksa, there are many young men and women just like them who are unemployed. Even many graduates are wandering around month after month for a job with a salary of 10,000 Taka.

Meanwhile, simply due to knowing computer operations and having good typing skills, these individuals have started on an initial salary of 15,000 Taka.

Do you know what the most interesting part is? Most of them have not even collected their certificates from us yet. They secured the job solely by demonstrating their skills. Apparently, once they submit their certificates, their benefits and perks will increase a bit more.

Through sheer willpower and hard work, they have overcome all obstacles.

We dream that, as part of their regular work, they will acquire further professional skills and earn recognition for them. Alongside their work, each of them will develop into a refined and compassionate citizen.

Their stories give us the courage and inspiration to keep doing this work.

We believe that despite hundreds of hurdles and adversities, our youth will grow up to be educated, skilled, industrious, refined, and compassionate.

This is our struggle; this is our politics.

The success of individuals like Rakibul is the fruit of our struggle and politics.

We seek your prayers, support, and cooperation.
