First private sector ICT Incubator in Bangladesh starts’ journey: The first and leading business incubator of Bangladesh “Business Innovation and Incubation Center (BIIC)” has announced their first private “ICT Entrepreneurship Incubator”.
M Sabir Ahmed, Chairman of BIIC handed over the LOI to Mr. Nahidul Islam Rrmel, Chief Executive Officer of Pranon Ltd in an occasion on 17th November 2011 at BIIC hall. Lutfor Rahman, Chief Information Technology Officer of Airtel, Business & Technical Council members & other officials of BIIC and Pranon were present in the occasions.
Sufi Faruq Ibne Abubakar, MD & CEO of BIIC said “This is completely a new idea in Bangladesh for creating ICT entrepreneurs. We are doing this project as our proof of concept. If this model works, we will be able to replicate it in every district of the country”.
