The Office of Placement and Alumni (OPA) of the American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) successfully organized a talk show titled “Entrepreneurship Development in the Information & Communication Technology (ICT) Sector.” The event took place from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

Key Speakers: The session featured prominent figures from the ICT and banking sectors:
- Mr. Tapan Kanti Sarkar: President of the CTO Forum and Head of IT at NCC Bank.
- Mr. Sufi Faruq Ibne Abubakar: General Secretary of Projuktite Bangladesh and Former Head of IT at AKTEL.
Session Highlights: Prof. Dr. Charles C. Villanueva, Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration, inaugurated the event with a welcome speech. The talk show was moderated by Mr. R. Tareque Moudud FCMA, Director of the Office of Placement and Alumni.
The core of the program was an interactive discussion and a Question & Answer session. Students engaged with the guest speakers regarding career prospects and entrepreneurship opportunities within the growing ICT sector. A significant number of interested students and faculty members attended the program.
At the conclusion of the discussion, Dr. AHM Ehsanul Huda Chowdhury, Associate Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration, delivered the Vote of Thanks to the guest speakers, faculty members, and students for their participation.
To mark the occasion, Prof. Dr. Charles C. Villanueva presented Certificates of Appreciation and tokens of gratitude to the distinguished guest speakers.
