Sufi Faruq Ibne Abubakar, a distinguished ICT consultant and social entrepreneur, has spearheaded numerous initiatives aimed at enhancing manpower development and employment opportunities in his constituency, Kushtia-4, and across Bangladesh. Recognising the potential of rural youth, he has implemented a range of programmes to equip them with the necessary skills for a knowledge-based economy.

One of his flagship initiatives is the Career Counselling Programme (পেশা পরামর্শ সভা), designed to guide young individuals in identifying emerging career paths and understanding the opportunities available through government developments up to 2041. These sessions provide insights into becoming successful professionals and entrepreneurs, offering advice on interview techniques, CV preparation, and suitable free courses based on individual assessments.

In addition to career counselling, Sufi Faruq has established various skill development trainings, including ICT Skills Training, Dressmaking (দর্জি প্রশিক্ষণ), Beautician Training, Freelancer Training, and MOC Interview Sessions. These programmes aim to empower individuals, particularly women, by providing them with practical skills to enhance their employability.

Furthermore, he has extended his career counselling initiatives to members of the Bangladesh Awami League, demonstrating his commitment to national development.
