Small canals flow alongside the village, which transform into powerful watercourses during the monsoon season, depositing silt that enriches the fertility of the surrounding farmland.

- Banshgram Secondary School: One of the region’s oldest and most prestigious institutions (established circa 1958), this school has been a beacon of learning for decades.
